• The Car – 2006 Aston Martin Vantage V8 with manual 6-speed transmission.
• The Story – First saw it in the San Francisco Auto Show in 2005 when it was introduced. Thought it was one of the prettiest cars on the road (and still think so), especially for a non-Italian car. Started looking for one a few years back. Requirement was, it has to be a coupe, manual transmission, not silver and not black interior. Finally one that fits all the requirements showed up locally with the added bonus of only having less than 14,000 miles.
• The Cool Factor – It has the iconic Aston Martin look with the timeless sports car design of a long hood and wide hips. Beautiful motor and the best sounding exhaust. Need to block out all the James Bond jokes and comments.
