- The Car – 1973 Alfa Romeo 1600 Zagato. Started as a styling exercise in 1967 as the Junior Zagato and eventually went into production. Zagato-built body on an Alfa Romeo chassis and running gear. Dubbed the Boutique Car in Europe. One of 402 ever built.
- The Story – Imported by a local Italian car dealer. I have owed it since 1985. Did many, many drives, car shows and tours with it.
- The Cool Factor – It’s not likely you’ll see another one on the road. Very unusual and ahead of it’s time design that garners many thumbs ups. Great driving car because of the light weight, short wheel-base and rigid chassis. Featured in a number of books, magazines and calendars. Dolce Vita award at Concourso Italiano amongst other show awards.
