- The Bike – 1969 Schwinn Chrome Paramount.
- The Story – Token U.S.A. bike. Came to me in very nice, little used condition. Very original components except for the foam handle-bar covers and gel seat. Apparently, there are many Chrome Paramounts in nice condition around. During the bike boom era, the rich guy would walk into a bike shop to get the ‘best bike’ and came out with a Chrome Paramount. He then found out that he actually had to pedal it and so it sat in the basement for the next 40 years.
- The Cool Factor – Arguably the best bike built in America during the time. This one with the rare Prugnat lugs and the lug linings.
