Ducati – Paul Smart

  • The Bike – 2006 Ducati Paul Smart 1000LE.  Only year of production and limited to 500 units in North America.  Built to pay tribute to Paul Smart who won the 1972 Imola 200 race and put Ducati V-twins on the map which led to the production of the iconic 750SS and later 900SS superbikes.  To read more about the bike, click here.
  • The Story – Bike came from Dallas, Texas.  Mods included stainless steel exhaust, high-performance chip.  425 lbs, over 100hp, 0-60 mph in 3.0 seconds and top speed over 150 mph.
  • The Cool Factor – Very rare bike that sounds great and looks great.  More power and handling than I can deal with.  This one autographed by the designer, Pierre Terblanche.
